WebBees are generally more aggressive in the late summer and early fall. This is because they are near the end of collecting and storing their honey supply for the winter. As a result, they become protective and defensive of their hive. However, sometimes a beekeeper needs to troubleshoot other causes for extreme behavior shifts in honey bees.
